Trail Runner, Fast Packer, Mountain Biker, Climber and 5-year veteran Adventure Racer, Matt is currently competitive in the East Coast 24+ hour Solo Adventure Racing community.
After a long history of overuse and Long Slow Distance running related injuries forced him out of his own sport for almost 2-years, Matt stumbled upon the CrossFit Endurance training methods. He spent a total of 8-months training CrossFit and supplementing with CrossFit Endurance programming, good nutrition and lots of Biomechanics of running technique work. Matt has culminating his training for the 2010 season with a Solo attempt of the Odyssey Endorphin Fix 2-day race. Traditionally a 4-person team race which covered a grueling 200 miles and over 60,000ft of elevation change in West Virgina.
